Gina Empson – Founder and Director
Holds a BSc in Accounting & Economics from Southampton University, England and in 1983 qualified in London as a UK Chartered Accountant. She is a member of EXPERTsuisse and a licenced audit expert.
Transferred to PwC, as an auditor in 1984, Gina Empson worked thereafter for ten years, within the Serono Group, initially as the Financial Analyst to Fabio Bertarelli, the founder of Ares Serono and subsequently directing operational and commercial companies within the group. In 1999, she founded ICS Corporate Services SA (ICS), a Swiss and independent accounting firm. Ten years later, she created Swiss Labour Contractors, a salary hosting company, heart of The Business Harbour activities. Her clients benefit from her experience that spans more than 30 years in finance.
Gina Empson is a member of several boards including the Banque Cantonale Genevoise (BCGE), the pension fund Genesia, the wealth management company Bruellan SA, and the Association Genèveroule, she also volunteers as an auditor for two charitable foundations.
A whirlwind of energy helming a clear course in The Business Harbour as well as on her sailing boat.

Laura Cantini – Business Development Director
Laura, our totally service-oriented Director, energizes through her natural enthusiasm both her colleagues and clients at The Business Harbour. Multilingual and multicultural with extensive experience in private banking, alternative investments, HR and career transition consulting as well as organizational and logistics roles, Laura is constantly raising awareness of the benefits of salary hosting for individuals, companies and organizations in an ever-changing work environment.
Always ready for a new challenge, she is the only member of our team to have co-piloted a MIG-31 jet!

Claude Perret – Accountant
Claude is an experienced accountant who joined our salary hosting team in August 2017.
He broadened his area of expertise with Berney Associés and obtained his Federal Diploma in 2006. That same year, Claude discovered accounting in a very different context at Freestudios, a video production and postproduction company in Geneva where he was appointed Financial and Administrative Manager.
After four years sailing around the world, it was only natural that Claude dropped anchor at the Harbour, to start a new journey in the accounting world. His know-how and proactive approach makes him a valuable member of the team.

Hélène Tercier – Office Manager
After a BA in multilingual communication, Hélène completed her Masters of Arts in Translation at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of Geneva in 2015. During her studies, she notably worked for Swissport Geneva, the job that she left to join us. The Business Harbour benefits from her language abilities and her common sense, two advantages that allow her to effectively run our office and website, as well as our office communication. Besides her activity for The Business Harbour, she volunteers as a caption editor, translator and transcriber for TED.
